Calibrate, then choose
Three lightweight signals describe today. Your task pool keeps the whole picture; TodayOne surfaces one task that is more realistic for your current state.

For days that do not arrive at full capacity
TodayOne starts with sleep, energy, and stress, then helps you choose one task from your pool that fits today. It does not decide your life. It helps you protect this day.

One task. One protected stretch of time.
01Start with the weight of choice
TodayOne treats one focused task as a deliberate constraint. It does not pretend the rest of your work has vanished. It gives today one clear, finishable direction that can be protected.
Changing tasks carries a preparation cost. Keep today’s attention on one thing first.
Turn “I should do this” into one action with time, difficulty, and a finish line.
TodayOne recommends; you can always choose differently. It works with reality, not over it.
02One clear loop
Three lightweight signals describe today. Your task pool keeps the whole picture; TodayOne surfaces one task that is more realistic for your current state.

When you start, the session counts down from the task’s planned duration. The distracting apps you choose are limited during that time; Dynamic Island, Lock Screen, StandBy, and widgets show only the current progress.
Limits are enforced through iOS system capabilities. You can change permissions in Settings or end a focus session at any time.

Completed, incomplete, and rest days all leave a light record. If a task was not finished, name a reason. Do not turn the end of the day into another long scorecard.

03Let the day leave a trace
The monthly heatmap keeps completion, focus, unfinished days, and rest in one view. Rest is not treated as failure, and yesterday does not need to be repaid.
No account. No advertising profile. No task or focus record is uploaded to a TodayOne server. You can clear local data from the app at any time.
04Why this design works
TodayOne turns three well-studied behavioral patterns into a light daily loop: reduce task switching, turn intention into a specific action, and use progress review to improve the next choice.
These sources support the behavioral design behind TodayOne. They are not medical advice, therapy, or a guarantee of individual results.
TODAYONE
TodayOne is built for iPhone. Tasks, state, and review stay local.
